My Favorite Proposal Locations in Philadelphia

Planning a proposal in Philadelphia? Here is a list of my favorite proposal locations in and around Philadelphia (including one in NYC!).

Philadelphia Proposal Location #1: Fairmount Waterworks

With an iconic skyline view, and situated right next to the Schuylkill River, Waterworks is a fantastic place to do a proposal. Not only is the gazebo at Waterworks a great location for photos, but there are also a few other great locations within walking distance for some fantastic and quintessential “Philly” photos. See more Waterworks engagement photos HERE.

Philadelphia Proposal Location #2: Rodin Museum

Located a few blocks down from the Art Museum, the Rodin has an incredible courtyard that is beautiful any time of year. See more Rodin Engagement Photos HERE.

Bonus Location: (NOT in Philadelphia!)

Central Park, New York City

Easily one of the most iconic locations around, Central Park is easily accessible from Center City Philadelphia, and it is a perfect location to make a full day of the proposal- including getting some incredible food. Some awesome locations include Bethesda Terrace, Bow Bridge, the Loeb Boathouse. If you are looking to have your proposal photographed, consult with your photographer prior to the event just to make sure you have the most favorable lighting conditions. Philadelphia Proposal Location #3:

Hawk Mountain, Kempton PA

If you are looking for a natural, beautiful PA location, Hawk Mountain provides one of the best vistas in the Philadelphia region. There are two main viewpoints, the first being a short walk from the car, and the second is a short 30 hike up the mountain for some incredible views. If you would like to do the hike to the top, plan on sweating a little bit, and bring suitable walking shoes! See more Hawk Mountain Engagement Photos HERE.

Philadelphia Proposal Location #4:

Jersey Shore

This could really include any of the Jersey or Delaware beaches, but some of my favorites are Cape May, Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, and Ocean City NJ. The beach is a beautiful, clean aesthetic and believe it or not, is actually most ideal after Labor Day when the crowds are gone. See more beach engagement photos HERE.

Philadelphia Proposal Location #5:
