ABOUT MATT GENDERS

My journey to photography started when I was in music school. My dad had given me one of his old cameras, and in between rehearsals and performances I used to day dream about shooting far off places.

It wasn't until my own wedding that I decided to pursue the dream of photography. There is something about capturing the right moment at the right time in a beautiful and thoughtful way that constantly fuels my ambition to be a better photographer. There is power capturing a memory- I'm always trying to chase that feeling.

I'm passionate about crafting elevated photos that feel honest and natural.

Since starting my wedding business, I also help run a creative studio in Lancaster, PA called Thread.
